Calgary Better Dinner
In collaboration with the Hunter Hub, the Youth Policy Council will host the Calgary Better Dinner, an evening of conversation centered on the future of Calgary and the kind of leadership required to shape it. Featuring Deborah Yedlin, President and CEO of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, the dinner will invite youth and community members to reflect on bold questions facing the city, from talent attraction and economic identity to civic storytelling and long-term legacy.
The event will create space for thoughtful discussion on what Calgary should stand for in the years ahead, who gets a voice in shaping that future, and how the city can renew its sense of ambition. By combining dialogue, community, and civic reflection, the Calgary Better Dinner will embody YPC’s goal of helping young people engage meaningfully with the ideas and leaders shaping their city.
